At Precision Grinding, Inc. we have one of the largest, high-horsepower grinders ever produced by Mattison Machine Works. This grinder is one of several large grinders within our machine shop. Whether you need one or many parts ground to close tolerances for flatness and parallelism, you can count on us to grind your steel parts and shapes to within your requested specifications. With a 42" x 200" magnetic table and a 410 HP motor, we're able to grind parts up to 48" x 240" to within precise tolerances for flatness and parallelism. Especially on large quantity jobs, by aggregating and combining multiple parts together, we're also able to reduce the price of our services to some of the lowest in the industry. Our machinists take pride in the quality of our work. From each of our steel processing departments, we work to make sure your parts are delivered to you, as ordered, on time and within budget. This machine removes a large amount of material from Steel Bar, Custom Steel Plate products, fabrications, tools, stamping dies, and plates of all sizes while holding these close tolerances. Specialties attributed to this grinder also include decarbing large sheets of tool steel for the tool steel industry and grinding large sheets of plate for water jet and laser cutting companies.
